Our Master Bedroom Design, Moodboard & Products
My vision for the master bedroom is all about relaxation. I want it to feel like the ultimate sanctuary, with a zen atmosphere and few distractions.
I love a soft pink and I feel like the bedroom is the only place I can convince my partner to let me have the pink colour scheme.
Furniture and decor will be fairly limited in this room, as our priority is having the biggest bed we can possibly fit in the room!

The vision
We’re going for a super king sized bed, and I’m currently undecided where to buy it from but I’ve listed a few of my favourite options later in this post.
In both bedrooms I plan to do the built-in IKEA pax hack. However, due to the depth of the bed, we’ll only be able to get the shallow depth wardrobes in the master bedroom.
It’s not ideal, but it’s better than no wardrobes at all. Plus, I plan to put a lot of wardrobe space in the guest bedroom – more on that in another post.
As you can see from my moodboard, the vibe is calming and feminine.

To be honest, which bed I go for will probably depend on how much money we have left when we get around to doing this room!
Final words
I can’t wait to create a sanctuary for sleeping – I’m not always great at falling asleep so I want to create a room that makes it almost impossible not to feel sleepy!
