Oltre il Giardino Venice

I love that the enigmatic Oltre il Giardino looks more like a stately home than a typical Venetian palazzo. It’s a breath of fresh air for those seeking a smaller, more intimate property in the Italian city.

Set among gardens dotted with magnolia, pomegranate and olive trees, the hotel has more of a Mediterranean air than most Venice hotels. Breakfast is served here during the warmer months.

Set in a 17th century palazzo, Hotel Heureka is a firm favourite among visitors to Venice – and I can easily see why.
