As soon as I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the opulent decor. The hotel’s owner, Jeanne Augier, was a passionate art collector, and she filled the hotel with an eclectic mix of antiques, paintings, and sculptures.
You’ll see everything from Louis XIV-style furniture to contemporary art pieces – and the overall effect is elegantly whimsical.
I love that the rooms at Le Negresco are just as impressive as the public spaces. Each one is unique, with its own colour scheme, furnishings, and artwork.
Some rooms have balconies with magnificent sea views, while others overlook the city or the hotel’s charming inner courtyard.
A great touch is that all rooms come with luxurious amenities such as plush bedding, marble bathrooms, and high-end toiletries.
