The island’s west coast is renowned for its picturesque sunsets, while the east coast is home to endless sandy beaches.

Tucked away in the embrace of the Vlycha Bay, the Lindos Grand Resort & Spa is the epitome of adults-only luxury, and I enjoyed the most wonderful stay here.
With architecture that’s both minimalist and opulent, this retreat is designed for romance and rejuvenation.
Every suite and room offers gorgeous sea views, with some boasting private pools for those intimate sunset swims.
The restaurants serve a blend of Mediterranean and international cuisine, all while ensuring a dining experience overlooking the vast Aegean.
The real culinary highlight is the Thalatta Fine Dining Restaurant on the hotel’s rooftop. We had the most fantastic meal here and they catered for some very awkward dietary requirements I had at the time!
And when you yearn for relaxation, the spa beckons with treatments that promise to invigorate your senses.
2. Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa Resort and Villas

Best for: Seafront location
Nestled on the southeastern coast, Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa Resort and Villas mirror the beauty of Lachania.
With neoclassical architecture, it seamlessly merges with the natural beauty around and I was blown away by the beauty in this resort.
Each room and villa is a haven of luxury, boasting panoramic sea views and interiors that radiate opulence.
Dive into their expansive pools, or better yet, indulge in the Thalasso spa treatments that use the therapeutic properties of seawater.
The six restaurants on the property ensure a culinary journey that’s as vast as the sea it overlooks. I enjoyed a wonderful meal in one of the seafront restaurants here.
It’s undoubtedly one of the best luxury hotels in Rhodes.
3. Kókkini Porta Rossa

For a stay in the heart of Rhodes’ Medieval Town, I’d recommend this charming gem that’s a testament to history and luxury.
Kókkini Porta Rossa, a boutique hotel, stands within the walls of a restored 14th-century residence.
Every corner narrates tales of yesteryears, with artefacts and curated art pieces adorning the walls.
The rooms, though echoing the mediaeval charm, are equipped with modern luxuries.
Their personalised service, from guided historical tours to tailored breakfast menus, ensures that your stay is as unique as the hotel itself.

I adore the minimalist design – bathed in soothing hues, it ensures tranquillity the moment you step in.
With a keen emphasis on wellness, every element, from the organic gourmet meals to yoga sessions overlooking the Aegean, is curated to rejuvenate.
The rooms, a blend of modern aesthetics and comfort, are designed for deep relaxation. Here, luxury isn’t just experienced; it’s felt deep within.
5. Allegory Boutique Hotel

Nestled within the ancient walls of Rhodes’ Old Town, Allegory Boutique Hotel is a symbol of exclusivity and refinement.
Housed in a beautifully restored mediaeval residence, this an adults-only haven with wonderful luxury touches in every corner.
Each of the six suites boasts individual designs. I love that the designs are all inspired by famous literary works, blending historical charm with modern opulence.
Stroll through its secluded courtyards, and you’re transported to an era of knights and castles.
The personalised service, coupled with the enchanting ambiance, crafts a stay that is both poetic and luxurious.
6. Ammades All Suites Beach Hotel

Best for: Adults-only beach escape
Serenely situated on the sparkling Elysium Beach, Ammades All Suites Beach Hotel is an invitation to pure seaside indulgence and one of the best hotels in Rhodes.
Every suite is curated to maximise the stunning sea views, with interiors that resonate with contemporary elegance.
Spend your day by the infinity pool that seems to merge with the Aegean, or indulge in gourmet dishes at their beachfront restaurant – I can’t think of a better way to spend a relaxing day in Rhodes!
If you prefer some more active relaxation, there is a fitness centre on-site where you can keep up with your exercise routine.
As the night falls, their beach bar, with its array of cocktails, provides the perfect setting for a moonlit rendezvous with the waves.

One my favourite things to do nearby is to explore the enchanting Rhodes Old Town with its cobblestone streets, mediaeval buildings, and vibrant local markets.
